London town...

In London at last...

The one thing that surprised me.... a question... is this really London? It's so different... things have changed a lot, those familiar faces have gone somewhere... the people I'm staying with are all fine and the same except that their kids have grown up a bit.

Oxford Street, the busiest place in London is now full of Europeans, maybe not but it does look like so. After those from Eastern Europe were allowed into the country without visa, they say, the city has become so WHITE and CHRISTIAN. The diversity that I used to appreciate isn't around, at least not till now and may find it later during my stay... it's a bit sad.

People are fine. There are Japanese clothing shops. UNIQLO is here but does not look successful.

A lot to write about... maybe later...
