I am a free citizen.

No update over the past week as I was away... 5 days a year at least I have got to be at a military camp for training. It is good to wake up to the bugle call in the morning etc. Starting a day at 6 am is something I always need to get used to though.

This time I was asked to talk about my experiences in the past to young sergents. That was fun.

Our stay at the billet. Sharing a spacious room full of bunk beds with others is something. We need to be considerate otherwise the stay will be painful...

I had a chance to fire a rifle which I had never used before. It was interesting. The thing I was happy about is that I was in the 3rd place in the athletic competition held at the camp, out of some 100 reserve soliders! I was even given a certificate of honour by the regiment commander! There is still a lot to do to improve! I will keep it up...

I really needed to take some good rest after this training but I had to go somewhere to sort something out. It is to do with our trainees' visas. The local labour bureau had contacted us regarding their visa status and I had no clue to that so that was a pain in the ass while I was away. It is all over now... Expecting another trainee to arrive next month.

Gotta get down to some work now...
