Back in town

It's been a while since I last posted a note here... I've been travelling, not for leisure but for research.

From tomorrow on I'll be pretty busy with things like writing up a few proposals, a research paper, conducting field research among other things...

Those who haven't been informed of what I've been up to, I'm currently out of my mother land but back in 'town' again. It's always nice doing things here, walking around, speaking to strangers, being spoken to by strangers etc.

I do access the net where I'm staying but the machine here doesn't support Japanese so I'll write in English. I really want to get the Japanese going though so that I can check the news about Japan on Japanese web sites. It's a bit frustrating honestly, but I can't complain about things here as I do have almost everything arranged by a very good friend of mine...
